Built in 1819, the Waterloo Hotel was the first purpose-built large scale hotel in Edinburgh. It recently returned to hotel trading after 120 years as the Apex Waterloo Place Hotel, and is located moments from Waverley train station and the city’s main shopping district. Apex Waterloo Place combines the traditional features of this historic building with the contemporary style that Apex Hotels have become well known for.

Drawing on our Chef’s extensive experience, John Brandon has created mouthwatering menus using, whenever possible, locally sourced seasonal ingredients. Offering an array of ‘modern Scottish’ dishes, he takes great pride in ensuring that all his dishes are hearty and tasty.
