Getting There by Car

Arriving from the south via Fort William on the A82
Leave Fort William on the A82 and then take the A830 signposted Mallaig. After crossing the Caledonian Canal at the world famous Neptune’s Staircase, take the first on the right signposted B8004 Gairlochy. You will travel approx 6 miles on this most scenic of single-track roads, and Lochaber Lodges are on your right.
Arriving from the North from Inverness on the A82
Approx 1 mile before Spean Bridge you will see a sign for the “Commandos Memorial”. Turn right onto the B8004 and pass the memorial on your left. Carry on for approx 2 miles until you cross the Caledonian Canal via the Gairlochy swing bridge. Immediately after crossing the bridge, turn left on the B8004. Lochaber Lodges are now only 1.5 miles on your left.
Getting There by Railway
The nearest railway station is at Spean Bridge, 3 miles away and Fort William at 7 miles away. We operate on request a free of charge pick up service from both stations.
Getting there by Aeroplane
The nearest airport is Inverness and visitors would need to take a bus to Spean Bridge or hire a car at the airport in order to visit Lochaber Lodges
