‘The Hideaway’ is a luxury mobile home sited Nr. John-O-Groats North Scotland. The mobile home comfortably sleeps 6 persons. Enjoy your stay in this secludeded 3-van site which has lovely open views towards the village of Scarfskerry and out to sea. On summer evenings take advantage of the balcony and enjoy a drink or two taking in the lovely peace & unspoilt views – if you are lucky you may see the deer on the moorland walk past your doorstep literally!
The Hideaway has 1 double room and 2 twin-bedded rooms all with plenty of wardrobe space, feather duvets provided. Beautiful large living space with TV/DVD Player/ Radio CD Player, separate shower room.
There are great places to visit in the beautiful county of Caithness – you’ll find spectcular bays, pretty harbours & foaming rivers rich in brown trout & salmon. Caithness is a wonderful mixture of dramatic landscapes & stunning scenery. From wild cliffs & tiny islands to lonely moorland & remote sandy
beaches – a haven to birdwatchers, fishermen and all outdoor enthusiasts.
Visit the famous John-O-Groats, where you can take spectacular trips by boat to see wildlife like you have never seen it before. A visit to Dunnet Head (Britains most northernly point) is a must - here you can see spectacdular wildlife – puffins, eagles, otters, seals, dear and much more.
For the more enthusiastic take a trip to the Orkney Islands and visit some ancient sites, dreamlike beaches great craft shops and sample world-famous ale & whiskey –ferries run from Scrabster or Gills Harbour another unique experience. The Queen Mothers former residence ‘The Castle of Mey’ is only a 5 minute drive, have afternoon tea in the lovely café in the newly refurbished visitor centre and take a wonder round the spectacular gardens – this is a part of Caithness History be sure not to miss it!
For the active there is a wide range of persuits - horseriding,sub-aqua diving. Sailing, kite-flying, surfing, climbing, fishing & walking
