Dalgair House Hotel in Callander is a small and comfortable family run hotel attractively & centrally situated in Perthshire’s main tourist resort of Callander in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The hotel is on the main street in the centre of the town and has its own private car park.
The hotel has a restaurant, busy public bar and 8 en suite rooms all with bath and shower. Callander lies at the side of the Teith river and is overlooked by Ben Ledi or God’s mountain. Callander is a great base from which to explore all the sights and amenities the National Park has to offer.
The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park is fast becoming one of the most popular tourist destinations in Scotland. As Callander is 90 minutes from 90% of the population it is an excellent location to base yourself. Close to the hotel are many attractions such as the Safari Park, Loch Katrine Steam boat, the Queen’s forest drive to mention but a few. All round the locale there are cycle, walking routes and some of the most beautiful hills to scale. With so many Lochs and rivers nearby it goes without saying that the area is a very popular fishing destination.
The hotel offers a good honest 2 star service with locally procured produce served every day in the Restaurant and is excellent value for money. The bar is a great place to meet the locals and serves bar meals, the largest range of beers and lagers and there is always an interesting dram on the shelf. At the weekends there is entertainment provided in the form of Karaoke, Ceilidh bands or cover music by a variety of artists. Please see website for further information.
