The Cottage at 6 Ramsay Road - Getting There

Getting there from the Information Centre

By Foot
Turn right and follow the road round to the High Street. Turn right onto the High Street and take the first road on the left (Mount Street) and then the second road on the right (Ramsay Road). We are the third house on the right with the two bollards outside the entrance.

By Car
Turn left and drive to the end of Bridge Street. Turn left onto Dee Street. Turn left at the traffic lights onto High Street. Drive along High Street and take the 1st road on the right (Mount Street) alongside The Burnett Arms Hotel. Ramsay Road is the 2nd on the right and No 6 is the 4th house on the right. 2 bollards mark the entrance.

Getting There by Car

From Aberdeen follow the A93. On arriving in Banchory drive straight on through 2 sets of traffic lights, then take the first road on the right between the church and the Burnett Arms Hotel (Mount Steet). Arriving from the South or East proceed West along the high street for 100m and take the 1st road on the right (Mount Street). Ramsay Road is the 2nd road on the right. We are the 4th House on the right with 2 bollards to mark the entrance

From Braemar/Ballater follow the A93, on arriving in Banchory, approaching the High Street turn immediately left at the large Church (Mount Street). Take the second road on the right (Ramsay Road). We are the 4th house on the right with 2 bollards to mark the entrance.

Getting There by Railway

From Edinburgh & Glasgow, Scotrail run a frequent service to Aberdeen and there is also a good service from Inverness.
East Coast run a direct service from London (Kings Cross). There is also a nightly Sleeper service(not Sunday) between London (Euston) and Aberdeen.

Getting there by Aeroplane

Aberdeen has good direct connections to most major UK airports as well as a number of European hubs including Schipol, Paris(CDG), Copenhagan and Dublin.
Banchory is a 30minute taxi ride from the Airport.
