The Park being situated on the main A711 Dumfries to Dalbeattie road, which is now part of the Galloway Tourist Route (GTR) to Ayr, making it an ideal place for a stopover or indeed use as a base from which you can explore the many tourist delights and attractions of Dumfries and Galloway.
The park is in a quiet and peaceful rural setting, offering panoramic views of the hills as they roll south to the Solway Coast and eastwards toward Criffel, on the outskirts of Kirkgunzeon village, approximately 8 mile south west of Dumfries and 4 miles from Dalbeattie.
Only a short drive will take you to some excellent woodland and Coastal walks, world class mountain bike trails (parts of the 7 Stanes group) and many more of the tourist attractions Dumfries & Galloway and the Solway Coast have to share.
