STRAID HOUSE
A family run Georgian house providing Bed a Breakfast accommodation at the gateway to the Trossachs in Scotland's first National Park. Straid House sits in open countryside,approximately 2 miles from Callander on the A84 Stirling Road 6 miles from Doune. The house has been renovated recently, providing three bedrooms all en suite and finished to a high standard. Breakfast is served in the dining room where we offer a selection of fresh fruits,cereals, yogurt and a choice of continental platter or a full Scottish breakfast. Evening meals can be arranged by prior notice. There is also a wide range of restrurants and shopping in Callander. It is an ideal location for walking, cycling and many other outdoor activities. We will be happy to organize a round of golf at Callander's 18 hole course, a permit to fish on the river Teith or a day's fly fishing with a local gillie.
