A warm welcome to Westcot Guest House. We are located in Callander in the Trossachs, or the gateway to the Highlands! Our lovely family home is perfectly poised for those venturing further north, on their way back, or for the needed weekend getaway. We are located directly next door to the St Andrews church (a very popular wedding venue), as well as being across the road from the C7 cycleway, the Callander meadows, and just 2 minutes walk from the town centre with all its shops, pubs, and eating establishments.
We have 3 ensuite rooms and 1 with a private bathroom. All rooms have in room tea and coffee making facilities, full length mirrors, hairdryer, as well as 17" televisions with Freesat (140+ channels). Complimentary toiletries are also provided. We also have a guest lounge/ sitting room for those who like to relax out with their rooms or meet with other guests. We have been open for over 3 years now so all rooms benefit from new carpet, beds, ensuites, everything!
We have named our 4 rooms after the views seen from the room.
Ben Gullipen is spacious family suite which has 2 king size beds and superb views towards the south overlooking the Callander Meadows and the river Teith. This room now benefits from new carpet and a very spacious ensuite which includes a large shower and roll top bath.
Crags is a double ensuite room at the back of the house with a stunning view looking north over the Callander Crags. This room now benefits from new carpet and a newly built ensuite bathroom.
Teith is a spacious ensuite room with a double and single bed and superb views towards the south overlooking the Callander Meadows and the river Teith.
Ben Ledi has just been finished to a very high standard after an extensive overhaul. This room has a double bed as well as a single bed and has a great view towards the west and Ben Ledi as well as the Callander Crags to the north. The room has a private bathroom (not shared with any other rooms). As there is a private bathroom for the sole use of this room, luxurious terry cotton bathrobes are provided for your comfort.
In the morning you will be presented with your choice of coffee or a selection of teas, breakfast bar with a selection of yoghurts, cheeses, cereals, and croissants. Finally, have your choice of a full Scottish breakfast, scrambled eggs on toast, beans on toast, or whatever it takes to get you ready for the day!
