Rosedale Cottage is one of the oldest properties in the beautiful village of Ballater and lies in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park. Ballater is approximately 42 miles West of Aberdeen and is surrounded by spectacular scenery making Rosedale the ideal location for an enjoyable holiday. The accommodation provides comfort for 6 guests over two floors and has all the modern day comforts expected for a relaxing break
All electricity, bed linens and towels are included in the price. Pets welcome by arrangement.
On the ground floor, the accommodation consists of a comfortable lounge with a wood burning stove. Flat screen HD TV with Free Sat, DVD player, X-Box with games.
Well appointed kitchen with washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer and other electrical appliances.
The dining room has a large 8 place setting table with French doors leading onto the patio and private garden area.
Master bedroom is furnished with beautiful cream French style king size bed and matching furniture with shower room next door. Accessorised with quality bed linen.
Upstairs there are two twin bedrooms that are decorated and furnished to a high standard and enjoy looking onto the private garden. Upstairs bathroom.
Outside the mature garden has a lovely patio area with furniture, ideal for BBQs. There is also the wonderful addition of a furnished summer house.
There are many activities to do in the area, walking around Glen Muick, Lochnagar or along the River Dee.
Cycling the old railway line which provides an ideal safe pathway for children.
Visit the many castles in the area including the Queen’s summer retreat at Balmoral.
Nearby there is the Lochnagar malt whisky distillery and a drive north through the Cairngorm National Park you will discover the Spey Valley whisky trail.
