Borthwick Gate offers a self -contained unit (with dedicated exterior door) within a comfortable house on the outskirts of Duns overlooking the golf course comprising utility / kitchen; shower room and twin bedroom. Ample parking within house grounds.
Overlooking the first tee and the eighteenth green on Duns golf course, Borthwick Gate is a comfortable, modern, family house in which the paying guest (s) enjoy the private use of a back door; utility / kitchen; a shower room and twin bedroom. There is an abundance of on-site parking (gravelled drive) and gardens.
The utility / kitchen is tile - floored, for practicality and the tiling is continuous through to the shower room. The kitchen / utility is equipped with stainless steel sink and drainer; wall and base storage units with worktop and there are utensils and appliances for light catering. (Continental breakfast is however provided).
The shower room has corner shower, WC and washhand basin. The bedroom is front -facing to the gardens and the golf course. The room is furnished with two single beds, wardrobe; TV; digital radio; table and chairs.
Borthwick Gate is a normal, functioning, family home (with a no-smoking policy) and subject to those constraints, visitors can enjoy a private and relaxing retreat from the trammels of life or venture into Duns, Berwickshire and beyond.
Visitors to Berwickshire soon discover the wealth of scenic beauty and places of historical and cultural interest. Alternatively they might be wishing to engage in or watch the numerous field or other sporting pursuits on offer. Duns Castle and its nature reserve are on the doorstep. The St. Abbs coast, well known for its sub-aquatic diving and wildlife attractions, is around 14 miles away. Berwick-Upon-Tweed and Edinburgh are within easy reach.
There are washing, drying and storage facilities within the house grounds.
