Getting there from the Information Centre
From the TIC, follow the road for approximately 7 miles, with the promenade on your left.
Veer right at Kerrycroy village, following the signs for Mount Stuart but do not take the left into the Mount Stuart Estate. Instead, follow the road for a further 2 miles passing the Kingarth Hotel on your left.
The lodges are situated at the top of the steep dip in the road, approximately 1 mile from Kingarth Hotel.

On disembarking the Wemyss Bay/Rothesay ferry, turn left and follow the road for approximately 7 miles. Veer right at Kerrycroy village, following the signs for Mount Stuart but do not take the left into the Mount Stuart Estate. Instead ,follow the road for a further 2 miles passing the Kingarth Hotel on your left.
On disembarking from the Colintraive/Rhubodach ferry, follow the road for approximately 12 miles, passing through Rothesay town centre. Veer right at Kerrycroy Village, following the signs for Mount Stuart but do not take the left into the Mount Stuart Estate. Instead follow the road for a further 2 miles passing the Kingarth Hotel on your left.

Take the train to Wemyss Bay Station and board the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry to Rothesay.
On disembarking the ferry, follow the passenger gangway to the Guildford Square bus shelter on your right. You can board a bus to Kingarth Hotel, the lodges are situated approximately 1 mile from the hotel. Alternatively, on disembarkment from the ferry, follow the passenger gangway to the taxi rank situated on your left and give the directions; Nether Stravannan, Kingarth.

There are two ferry terminals operating services to the Isle of Bute, Wemyss Bay and Colintraive.
On arrival at Wemyss Bay ferry terminal, board the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry to Rothesay.
On arrival at Colintraive ferry terminal, board the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry to Rothesay.
