Babingtons Cottage

A spacious and newly decorated country cottage just five minutes from Coldstream and easy access to the world renowned Tweed. Our cottage has stunning views of both the Cheviot and Lammermuir Hills.

The Garden

Spacious Garden to the front and rear. Ample parking and easy access to the house. Well suited to fisherman and golfers.

Main Sitting Room

A lovely room with open log fire with doors opening onto a patio for candlelit dinners overlooking the Cheviot Hills.

Second Sitting Room

A lovely place to sit and relax by the orignial Victorian Fireplace.

Dining Room

Table seating for ten. Easy access to the kitchen and lovely views to the hills.

Kitchen

Delightful fully equipped new Howdens Kitchen with large Fridge, Washing Machine, Dishwasher, Freezer, Microwave and electric Everhot Cooker

Twin Room

Peaceful twin room with new bathroom opposite (see below). The beds and linen have recently been upgraded. A very fresh and uplifting space to stay.

Bathroom

Bathroom and shower. New white tiles throughout. Clean and comfortable.

Passage

Main passage leads through cottage with convenient access to all other rooms.

Tweed Mill

Just a few minutes walk below the cottage this famous beat is where the Till joins the Tweed. You can fish for Salmon, Sea Trout, Trout and Grayling. Please ask for more details.

Holy Island

Steeped in history, Holy Island is a visit not to be missed.

Farne Islands

A wonderful day out especially in the spring when the nesting birds are around.

Sunset from the Cottage

The light is always changing. Enjoy the start and end of each day. Watch the light as it transforms the landscape and skyline. Views from the cottage are an experience to savour and will live long in the memory.
