The Royal Burgh of Falkland is situated in the Kingdom of Fife. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside and picturesque scenery. There is lots to do for all the family, including sight seeing at the Palace and historic walks. There is also a variety of activities for the kids to do in the surrounding area.

Our spacious en-suite bedroom/family room encorporates a kingsize bed with 2 single beds if required. It boasts unique views of the beautiful Falkland Palace which is situated directly across the road - you can't get a better view!
The en-suite bathroom has bath with overhead shower.

Oh summer days! Relax with a refreshing drink outside either at the front with views of the palace our in our secluded beer gardan at the back with views of the lomond hills.
The Royal Palace
The stunning palace with it's picturesque grounds and Royal tennis court is well worth a visit. It plays host to a variety of National Trust events throughtout the season for the more active and families. You can also wander around at your leisure and simply enjoy your surroundings.
Halloween at the Bruce!
Enjoy autumn at the Bruce where we enjoy every season. Walks around Falkland estate, the Lomond Hills are beatiful at this time of the year, full of warm golds and reds. Brave the spooky ghost tours across the road at the palace if you dare!

Winter wonderland!
How lovely to be snowed in here. Lovely winter walks followed by warming hot chocolate (or somthing a little stronger) in the Bruce's cosy bar.
Woodburning stoves ahhh.
Come and relax in our bar by our cosy woodburning stoves after a day of walking or sight seeing. Even if the weather is fine, there is something soothing about a real fire. Play traditional bar games, enjoy bar snacks, meals and our famous friendly banter.

Our restuarant also has a woodburning stove. Enjoy our traditional menu along with our inviting special board which includes a variety of locally caught game ranging from warm rich venison casseroles, pan fried wood pidgeon and slow roasted pheasant to name but a few!
