Getting There by Car

Balkissock Lodge is approximately three and a half miles from Ballantrae which lies on the A77 Glasgow to Stranraer road.

Coming from the North, go through Ballantrae, across the river Stinchar and take the first left after the national speed limit sign. From the South, turn right just before the 30mph signs on the south side of Ballantrae along the road indicated by the holiday park (campsite) sign.

Follow the road for approximately two miles to a T-junction. Turn right, following the sign for Balkissock Lodge. After approximately 400m take the left fork, following the sign for Balkissock. Continue for approximately one mile. Balkissock

Getting There by Railway

Balkissock Lodge lies midway between Stranraer and Girvan train stations. A regular bus runs along the A77 between Stranraer and Girvan into Ballantrae. Pick up can be made by prior arrangement only (please call direct before booking).

Getting there by Aeroplane

Balkissock Lodge is approximately an hours drive from Prestwick Airport and approximately two hours from Glasgow Airport. Both are easily accessible to the A77 Glasgow to Stranraer road.

Getting There by Ferry

Balkissock Lodge is approximately 30 minutes drive to the ferry port of Cairnryan on the A77. Cairnryan has daily crossings to Northern Ireland (Belfast and Larne).
