Balkissock Lodge
Balkissock Lodge is a four star AA rated Guest Accommodation located in the hills near the lovely coastal village of Ballantrae. We have three en-suite rooms and breakfast is served in the conservatory.
Home cooked evening meals are available and speciality diets can be catered for by prior arrangement. Guests are welcome to bring their own wine to enjoy with their meals. Lunches and suppers are available by request.
Balkissock Lodge is an ideal base for golfers, walkers, fishermen and tourists. Walkers, cyclists, motorbike and classic car owners are welcome.
Howard and Cordelia would like to welcome you to their home which sits in an acre of garden and woodland and offers a peaceful location where you can enjoy the surrounding countryside and coast. Enjoy views from around the property towards Ailsa Craig, the Isle of Arran, Mull of Kintyre, the Antrim Coast and the Galloway Hills.
We have two ground floor rooms available for people who find stairs difficult, both having level access to car parking facilities. All rooms are freshly decorated and have en-suite bath or shower rooms. Each room contains a hospitality tray, colour TV and hairdryer. We have a drying room for waterproofs and motorcycle leathers. Ironing facilities are available on request. There is ample private parking and a pressure washer should guests require it.
Relax in the spacious conservatory and enjoy watching the visiting wildlife in our garden or curl up on the sofa in front of the open fire on a chilly evening. Guests are also welcome to walk around the garden or relax in the summer house. For the comfort of all of our guests, no smoking is allowed throughout the Lodge and pets are not allowed into the bedrooms.
Unfortunately, we have no facilities for young children.
Well behaved pets welcome by prior arrangement.
