Getting there from the Information Centre
Six Brunton Place is 0.8 mile from the Tourist Information Centre. It is a fifteen minute walk, or less than five minutes in a taxi.
If you are walking from the Tourist Information Centre, head East on Princes St towards West Register St, turning left at Leith St after two minutes walk. Take a slight right to stay on Leith Street, going through the roundabout. At the second roundabout take the first exit onto London Road, also called Leopold Place at this point. Follow this road straight, and Brunton Place is part of London Road, on your left hand side, just past Hillside Crescent.
Getting There by Car

If you are travelling by car, we are situated on the B1350, London Road, just off the A1, at the eastern end of the city centre. Brunton Place is part of London Road, between Brunton Terrace and Hillside Crescent.
There is free on-street parking outside during evenings and at weekends, and at other times we pay for your on-street parking costs opposite our Guest House.
Getting There by Railway
Six Brunton Place is 0.8 miles from Waverley, Edinburgh’s central Railway Station. It is a fifteen minute walk, or less than five minutes in a taxi.
If you are walking from the station, exit onto Princes Street, head East on Princes St towards West Register St, turning left at Leith St after two minutes walk. Take a slight right to stay on Leith Street, going through the roundabout. At the second roundabout take the first exit onto London Road, also called Leopold Place at this point. Follow this road straight, and Brunton Place is part of London Road, on your left hand side, just past Hillside Crescent.
Getting there by Aeroplane
Six Brunton Place is 9 miles from the Airport.
By taxi it takes approximately 25 minutes, depending on the time of day.
Alternatively, you can take the Airport Shuttle bus from the airport to Waverley Bridge, which is less than a mile from Six Brunton Place, outside the Waverley central railway station.
If you are travelling from the airport by car take the A8, signposted City Centre. After 7 miles you will be in the West End of the city. Follow signs for A1 Berwick on Tweed. After 1.5 miles you will reach the B1350, London Road (also called Leopold Place where you join this road). Follow this road for 0.5 mile, Brunton Place is part of London Road, on your left hand side after Hillside Crescent.
