Carse Bay Holiday Chalets in South West Scotland
Our log chalets sleep 4 people and provide the perfect self catering family holiday accommodation for a relaxing time exploring the beautiful countryside of Dumfries & Galloway. Curlew Lodge, completed in June 2009 is the first of 3 chalets, the other 2 will be built in early 2010.
There are many places to stay in Dumfries and Galloway but not many holiday locations can boast that they are right on the sea shore, ok 20 yards away then!
With uninterrupted views of Galloway's highest and most beautiful mountain, Criffel and within walking distance of a good pub "The Steamboat" in Carsethorn
A secluded development built with 21st century comfort and real log burning stoves. Unlike many other log chalets along the Colvend Coast these are built to very high specifications. They are well insulated so that they are warm in winter and not too hot in summer.
The chalets are close to the equestrian establishment of South Carse. You can bring your horse with you and keep him in the livery yard there so that you can enjoy riding on the beach and around the bridleways on the estate.
If it's rows of identical cabins, discotheques and amusement arcades you want then look elsewhere!
