Our beautiful ‘Period’ accommodation retains many original features such as shuttered windows, solid wood floors, and flagstone hallways. These are supplemented by some wonderful modern home comforts. All you have to do is relax! Our Winter Suite comprises of TWO generous rooms:
The bedroom and shower room are situated on the first floor and are accessed by their own private staircase...
...whilst below the bedroom, and accessed by a short public corridor, a large private living room area is located downstairs within the suite and combines an original flag stone floor and original sash window, with a delightful mix of traditional and modern furniture to create a quite special place to relax after a days exploring!
The manse in 1864. The building has seen many colourful characters over the years, and even has a tale to tell relating to the famous author J.M.Barrie. It’s history led us to being recently features in BBC Radio Scotlands ‘A House With a Past’ programme. You can find out more on your arrival!
