Our beautiful ‘Period’ accommodation retains many original features such as shuttered windows, solid wood floors, and flagstone hallways. Our Winter Suite comprises of TWO generous rooms:
The bedroom and shower room are situated on the first floor and are accessed by their own private staircase...
...whilst below the bedroom, and accessed by a short public corridor, a large private living room area is located downstairs within the suite and combines an original flag stone floor and original sash window, with a delightful mix of traditional and modern furniture to create a quite special place to relax after a days exploring!
The manse in 1864. The building has seen many colourful characters over the years, and even has a tale to tell relating to the famous author J.M.Barrie. It’s history led us to being recently features in BBC Radio Scotlands ‘A House With a Past’ programme. You can find out more on your arrival!
