Craggan Bunkhouse & Bothy
Craggan Outdoors offer good value, comfortable accommodation for individuals and groups in our Bunkhouse and Bothy, located side-by-side in a secluded and picturesque spot at the top of the Glenbeg Estate, just a couple of miles off the A95 Grantown-Aviemore road. Peace and quiet is guaranteed, along with the fantastic views, yet it is just a 5 minute drive into nearby Grantown-on-Spey & 20 minutes to Aviemore.
Our Bunkhouse is a converted farmhouse that sleeps up to 27 people over three rooms, two light & airy bunk-rooms of 11 & 12 beds each, & a cosier 4-bed room. Downstairs is a large open-plan kitchen & dining / common room area, along with bathroom facilities on a minimum of a 1-to-5 basis. The Bunkhouse is double-glazed & centrally heated.
Our Bothy is a converted steading offering snug & cosy accommodation across a single floor. The bunk-room sleeps up to six people & is adjoined by wheelchair-accessible wet-room. The kitchen & dining area is at the other end of the building & includes a wood burner for cosy evenings, although the Bothy is centrally heated.
Craggan Outdoors' Bunkhouse & Bothy are part of Craggan Outdoors activity centre, the TripAdvisor top-rated outdoor centre in Scotland in both 2009 & 2010, & the only activity centre to be shortlisted in the prestigious 'Best Visitor Experience' category in the Highlands & Islands Tourism Awards, again in both 2009 & 2010.
