Red Pepper, Tomato & Lentil Soup
"Ac olourful bowl of rich red soup, garnished with a swirl of olive oil and fresh coriander. The soup had been thickly blended with the lentils, onion and flavoursome stock."
Designed with an Art Deco feel the construction of the bar used large amounts of reclaimed material, such as old flagstone flooring, bank counter and school science desks. The décor itself delves into Scotland's past, each item having its own story to tell. The menu is unusual and interesting, with a global/Mediterranean/tapas slant. The emphasis is on good quality, simple, fresh produce prepared to order. The regular menu is augmented by ever-changing weekend specials. The atmosphere is informal and comfortable and the service ethos is friendly and knowledgeable.
