The Ship Inn

The Ship is an historic inn (established 1771) beautifully situated at the edge of Stonehaven's picturesque and historic harbour. Our extensive menu offers excellent home-cooked food. Start off with home-made pate or delicious soup - Cullen Skink made with locally smoked haddock, sliced potatoes and enriched with fresh double cream is a speciality. Or how about a Prawn Platter or a bowl of fresh mussels in a sauce of white wine, garlic and cream? Or, if you prefer a vegetarian option, you can have a goat's cheese salad or our Mushroom Pepperpot - pan fried mushrooms in a creamy peppercorn sauce.

Open Sunday to Thursday 1100 to Midnight, Friday and Saturday 1100 to 0100.
