Roast Beef with Yorkshire Pudding
"The meat was of reasonable quality and with a good flavour. The gravy was of a good consistency and the Yorkshire pudding was excellent being both light and flavour some."

Lemon Cake
"The texture of the cake and the consistency of the topping were of a light texture. Very refreshing, with a good lemon flavour."

The restaurant offers freshly prepared meals on the premises with a daily changing specials board with excellent variety.

The building was originally built back in the 1950's as the canteen to the Samuel Jones Paper Mill which Sterling Furniture now occupy.

The service is friendly and informal and the restaurant itself ideally situated for customers travelling from the East or West.

Our typical customers are families, walkers, cyclists, tourists and shoppers at the neighbouring retail outlets. Our style is informal, with orders placed at the till and the food delivered to the table.
