Restaurant at The Forth Inn

Baked Field Mushroom topped with Lochaber Smoked Cheese on a Sun Blushed Tomato, Artichoke and Olive Salad
“Warm, meltingly soft, Lochaber smoked cream cheese in a rolled-oat coating, and a delicious meaty mushroom. Harmonious flavours in well-balanced proportions.”
Steamed Lemon Sponge served with Custard
“A cheerful yellow topped, individual sponge, set in a pool of thin custard. Dense, yet not heavy, sponge, topped with a deliciously sticky, sharp lemon glaze. Taken individually, enjoyable, but together, mouthwateringly moreish”
The Forth Inn prides itself in the quality of food we provide. Whenever possible, we use local produce: our meat comes from the local Aberfoyle butcher, in summer we buy as much local organic veg as possible, and our fish comes in daily. Our aim is to pleasantly surprise. At lunch time, we offer traditional pub fare, and in the evenings, we have a bar and an evening menu that provides options you may be surprised to find in a pub in Scotland!
