Wild Mushrooms
“The wild mushrooms looked attractive and plentiful. Some were sliced along with smaller whole varieties. The dish was presented simply with garlic and sprinkled with chopped herbs. The variety and flavours from the combination of mushrooms, coupled with the perfume of garlic and herbs created a simple enjoyable dish, letting the main ingredients project their own virtues.”

Bellini Risotto (Lobster, King Prawns with a Saffron Rice)
“The visual impact of the main dish was colourful, with half a lobster and whole crevettes and oysters in their shells placed alongside the saffron risotto. Presentation was rustic in style. The contrast of shellfish and saffron risotto married well together.”

Our aim is to create traditional and authentic Italian cuisine in Edinburgh, by taking produce from Scotland's natural larder, and preparing it in a distinctively Italian style by blending with delicacies specially imported from several regions of Italy. We are happy to provide a traditional Italian banquet for you, in order that you may sample true regional cooking outside of Italy. We will be pleased to suggest dishes for you to try as well as provide favourites which you may particularly enjoy. Both small and large parties are welcome.
