"Excellent fresh scallops which were not over cooked and had a good flavour and texture. Very good the oil and the apple jelly worked very well and complemented the fish without over powering it."
Breast of Guinea fowl on a bed of noodles garnished with a bundle of mange tout, and carrots
"Excellent flavour and consistency with sufficient sauce to coat the pasta and provide moisture for the meat. A colorful bundle of vegetables well cooked to preserve flavour colour and texture."
Cawdor Tavern is a traditional country pub in a building which was originally the old castle workshop. The use of fresh quality local produce and the expertise of the kitchen team, combined with the warmth and willingness of the dining staff, this gives the customer a most enjoyable visit.
