"The pate was served in quenelles, garnished with salad leaves and a scattering of macerated raisins, with 3 oatcakes fanned out to one side. The pate was extremeley light and smooth and the flavours were subtly balanced."
Braised Shank of Scottish Lamb
"The lamb was tender and easy to cut and eat. A cut of lamb that pronounced characteristic lamb flavour."
Our typical customers are families and parties, locals and tourists. Our style is contemporary and the painted stone wall décor features a display of art works by local artists.
The atmosphere very much depends on the occasion, ranging from intimate to lively and buzzing, but at all times it is relaxed and friendly.
Our monthly changing menu is supplemented by a range of chef's specials.
