"Overall presentation of this dish was first class, two good pieces of steak stacked on top of a perfectly cooked fondant potato, garnished on the surround with cut chanterelle mushrooms, salsify, all masked in a superb meat glaze. The venison lived up to expectations, and was full of flavour, succulent, and melted in the mouth. An excellent balance of all the ingredients contributed to making this dish memorable. Top marks for composing and presenting this dish."

We are a small, friendly, contemporary restaurant offering great food using fresh produce from local suppliers. We offer a variety of menus including a la carte and set menus for lunch and early evening meals. We welcome children, small groups and couples looking for a romantic interlude in our candlelit dining room.
