The delicious feta salad was a well-chosen accompaniment, and the tzatziki incorporated an extra punch of garlic, giving it an added bite. An attractive, colourful dish, a reminder of holidays spent in Greece.”
Soy-and-Honey-Seared Salmon with a Toasted Sesame Crust
“A mound of crushed potato, topped with green beans and mangetout, and crowned with the sesame topped salmon. A straightforward presentation that allowed the food to make its own statement. The salmon was succulent, flaked easily, and the soy and honey coating had a rich depth of flavour, enhanced by the crust of sesame seeds.”
Apple Crumble with Custard
“A delightfully sticky mixture of apples and rich, creamy caramel sauce, topped with the perfect amount of buttery crumble. Fresh tastes in the raspberry coulis and nostalgic childhood memories from the excellent custard. An appealing, aromatic presentation.”
