Lairds Kitchen
The 'Lairds Kitchen' at Delgatie Castle is in the original kitchen. The barrel vaulted ceiling and original features give it a historic yet homely atmosphere coming through the main entrance to the castle and past the historic turnpike stair. You come into the tearoom with dappled sunlight coming through the windows. We specialise for all whether it is a person having coffee while reading their newspaper to families who come for soup, shepherd's pie and sticky toffee pudding (the best you will taste).
Our home baking is world renowned and our carrot cake recipe is a trade secret but once you have tasted it you will want to come back time and again. Here at Delgatie we pride ourselves on using local produce to make good food and yet give value for money. From our scones and pancakes to soups and light lunches and finally our cakes. We are sure you will not be disappointed.
