Mull Theatre

Acclaimed professional theatre - the main producing and touring theatre of Argyll & Bute and the Highlands & Islands. Produces quality shows which play in a number of venues in Tobermory: some of which also tour throughout Scotland. Drama, comedy and children's shows, and in the summer film presentations, street theatre and children's workshops. Booking is advised.

Mull Theatre productions for summer 2004: Whisky Galore, an adaptation of the Compton Mackenzie novel, performed as a "live" BBC Home Service Broadcast in the late 1940's. Hilarious family entertainment.

The Lonesome West by Martin McDonagh. The third part of the Leenane trilogy, set in the outrageously dysfunctional, cloistered yet mythical west Irish landscape. Dark, yet beautifully tender and gut-achingly funny.

Plus many visiting companies with a wide range of shows.
