There Was A Soldier

Eight shows telling the story of the Scottish Soldier, from the Wars of Independence to the Second World War, by the means of song, tune, verse, and visual display.
Dougie Mackenzie is putting these productions together, with local singers, musicians. (Wall to Wall Fiddle), (Far Sound Band).
Special guests from near and far, and with a lot of help from people with an interest in our history, and the glory, and sacrifice, of the Scottish Soldier.
Each show will have a special guest(s) where they will do a spot of a more general nature.
Also along with them, we will expand the show to include the Clan Wars, and the Jacobite Rebellions.
The show's venue is the Spectrum Centre, Margaret Street, Farraline Park, Inverness. 7.30 pm start. The Spectrum Centre is located in the centre of the City of Inverness, directly adjacent to the bus station and just a short walk from the railway station.
