The Hairth
Organisers of The Hairth Festival at Knockengorroch have announced new acts for the grassroots festival extravaganza. DJ Aphrodite, commonly known as the ‘godfather of jungle’ and MC Junior Red will join the hand picked selection of live acts from around the world including the intriguing Warsaw Village Band, flying in from Poland with their bio-techno interpretation of Polish folk and songwriter virtuoso Rory Mcleod. The Knockengorroch hills will also feature aerial acrobatics and dance from Glasgow's Spinal Chord Project.

As well as programmed music artists, the Hairth will feature folk music sessions, open mic, cabaret, fire shows, children's marquee, workshops, storytelling, walkabout, healing zone, a longhouse venue, global shopping, good food, real ale, showers and camping.
