We welcome cyclists and have secure storage for bikes, and workshop facilities.

We are right on the "Borders loop" (A 250 mile long cycleway) which can be done from B&B to B&B or as shorter sections. Click on the above photo for map.

There are many cycle routes of varying lengths and type suitable for beginners to experienced.
Close by there are marked forest tracks ('Swinnie' and 'Hells Hole, at Hyndelee') suitable for mountain bikes. (A great family day out)

Bikers Welcome

A warm welcome for you and your bike with secure garaging if required.

We can garage up to 8 bikes. Secure and dry. Battery charging, and cleaning equipment.

We are just over the border into scotland; making an ideal first stop on a Scotland tour. Steven 'Hizzy' Hislop lived and was laid to rest here in Chesters. Pay your respects to 'Hizzy' at his memorial in the village. There is also a bronze statue in his memory in Wilton park, Hawick. It is unusual as it is a life-sized image of "Hizzy" in his leathers and is mounted at ground level.
