The Caithness Archive Centre was established in 1995 to provide an archive service for the Caithness area.
As part of the Highland Council Archive Service, the Caithness Archive Centre is responsible for locating, preserving and
making accessible documents and other records relating to the history of Caithness.
The public searchroom is currently based within the Wick library building.
Opening Hours
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 10.00 – 1.30 & 2.00 – 5.30
Wednesday CLOSED
(except June-August inclusive by appointment only 10.00 - 1.00)
Friday 10.00 – 1.30 & 2.00 – 5.00
