Caithness Archive Centre - Getting There
Getting there from the Information Centre
From town centre and TIC (at McAllans clothing store) – there is only one set of traffic lights in Wick town centre, and McAllans is right beside them. Follow the main road to the right into Bridge Street, over the river and straight over at the mini-roundabout. The library building is on your left directly opposite Caithness General Hospital, and the North Highland Archive is upstairs to the left. About 5 to 10 minutes walk.
Getting There by Railway
By train – from the train station, walk down the brae to the mini-roundabout, turn right. The library building is on your left directly opposite Caithness General Hospital, and the North Highland Archive is upstairs to the left. About 5 minutes walk.
