The Third World Centre is Aberdeen's world shop, the original city fair trade outlet and still the only retailer solely dedicated to fair trade. We make sure that the producers of goods that we sell receive a fair price and enjoy reasonable working conditions. Shoppers can choose from a wide variety of foods - exotic jams, organic honey, museli and dried fruits, biscuits, chocolate and sweeties to make a calorie counter despair! There are many different sorts of tea and coffee and tropical fruit juice too.
Take a look at our crafts, jewellery, fashions and accessories, handmade paper and individual greetings cards, embroidered goods and even musical instruments. Everything is of the highest quality, so if you shop with us you get the best of both worlds. A great deal for you and a better life for many producers and growers in some of the world's poorest countries.
As well as selling fair trade goods, we can provide you with speakers and information about trade and justice issues. We were the prime movers in the successful campaign to make Aberdeen a Fairtrade City. We need your help to spread fair trade so that we can all shop till no one drops.

Opening Hours
Open: Monday & Tuesday 1100 until 1500; Wednesday to Saturday 1000 until 1600.
Exceptions: Closed Sundays, Christmas and New Year and public holidays.
