Balmoral Mill Shop
Balmoral Mill Shop is one of only a few truly genuine mill shops that exist in conjunction with a working Scottish knitwear factory.
Balmoral Knitwear has been manufacturing garments at its factory in Galston, Ayrshire, Scotland for over 100 years.
The Mill Shop, which is open 7 days per week, sells the BURNAWN label, a range of its own factory produced garments, as well as some leading brand names such as LYLE * SCOTT, GLENMUIR, ALICE COLLINS, EMRECO, FARAH, GABICCI, TULCHAN and many more, all sold at factory direct prices.
We cater for Ladies, Gents and Children as well as stocking Scottish Gift items.
We offer a relaxing shopping enviroment, away from the chaos of the High Street. Our car park is just behind our shop and aswell as countless bargains, we have changing facilities, and helpful, friendly staff. We have disabled access.
We have a box of toys to keep the children amused whilst parents shop in peace. We also have a seconds 'rumble box', offering fantastic bargains.
There is a coffee shop on site, which sells home baking, light lunches and snacks.
Galston is located in beautiful rolling Ayrshire countryside. We are 30 minutes drive south of Glasgow, and 20 minutes from Glasgow/Prestwick International airport with its frequent flight connections from/to the south of England and all over Europe. The ferry terminal in Troon, which again is only 20 minutes away by car, has regular sailings to Ireland.
