The House Of Bruar

The House of Bruar sits like a castle at the foot of the spectacular Bruar Falls, and is widely acknowledged as Scotland’s most prestigious independent store. Continuing to grow - last year an impressive new Menswear Hall was added, doubling the menswear offer and expanding on their extensive technical department.
Ladieswear was extended, including a new Shoe and Handbag department, offering even more choice from prestigious brands. You can’t forget about Britain’s largest Cashmere Hall, full of knitwear and tailoring unsurpassed for value and quality. The large Sales Shop is also well worth a visit, where you can find fantastic value in a wide range of clothing, knitwear and accessories.
With inspiration from the beautiful Highland surroundings The House of Bruar design a range of luxurious saxonny and Shetland tweeds with knitwear to match to be found in the Ladies Country Clothing Hall.
Full of innovative ideas for the home and garden the Country Living Hall is the perfect place to find that elusive gift or an irresistible treat for yourself. You will also enjoy browsing in the inspiring Gallery, housing the most comprehensive and important collection of contemporary rural art ever exhibited in Scotland. If you need a break from shopping you will find the Food Hall and Restaurant a welcoming sight, full of British gourmet produce and delicious home cooked food, not to mention the award winning butchery.
Conveniently situated on the A9, nine miles north of Pitlochry, no trip to Scotland is complete without a visit to the Home of Country Clothing.
