Cardoness Holiday Park
Cardoness Holiday Park is situated on the North shore of Fleet Bay in the Stewartry District and consists of some 100 acres. There are over 200 privately owned seasonal static caravans, all carefully concealed in mature trees and shrubs. Most have sea views, all have electricity, drainage and water straight from the hills behind.
There is a shop, small library, post box, telephone and launderette as well as fishing, tennis court, putting green, children's play area, outside draughts and table tennis. There is a Games Hall consisting of snooker, table tennis and carpet bowls. There are several miles of private sandy beaches and secluded rock coves and with the waters warmed by the Golf Stream, sailing and windsurfing are popular. There are many walks on the Estate with the emphasis on peace and tranquillity. You may also see many species of wildlife including Roe Deer, Red Squirrels and over 160 species of bird.
Aside from modern static caravans, Cardoness has five reasonably priced touring caravan pitches, complete with electrical hook-up, for members of the Caravan Club. These are situated half a mile from the main Park but still allow access to all the Park's beaches, walks and facilities.

1 April to 31 October (except where Easter falls in March and site opens on Thursday before Easter)
Exceptions: 1 November - 31 March - no one allwed access to Park without express permission of Management
