Getting There by Railway

From Waverley Station, Edinburgh, go along Princes Street to the West End and turn left up Lothian Road. Follow the signs for Carlisle via Biggar on the A702. West Linton is approximatley 19 milesfrom Princes Street. Take the turning, left into West Linton Village and the tourist Information Board is situated beside the village centre in Raemartin Square. Further tourist information is available during office hours from the Post Office beside phone kiosk.

Getting there by Aeroplane

From Edinburgh follow the signs to City by-pass (A720) and take the turning off the by-pass towards Carlisle via Biggar (A702). West Linton is approximatley 17 miles from the by-pass on the A702. Turn left into West Linton village. The information board is situated outside the village centre in Raemartin Square. Tourist information is found in the Post Office at the end of the main street on the left beside the telephone kiosk.
