Dunoon Pier
The first jetty, 130 yards long, was built in 1835. Some years later, no one seems to know when, it was replaced by a new pier. With the exception of the modern roll-on/roll-off facilities for vehicles, the present pier is much as it was after being rebuilt in 1895. Car/passenger ferries operated by Caledonian MacBrayne run a reguqlar service between Dunoon Pier and Gourock Railway Pier.
