Fraserburgh Old Parish Church

Present building dates from 1801, with a church on this site since 1572. The pulpit is one of the highest in Scotland and the superb memorial window designed by Douglas Strachan 1906 was gifted by Sir George Anderson, Treasurer of the Bank of Scotland, in memory of his parents. A front pew in the south gallery is marked as the place where Marconi, pioneer of wireless telegraphy, worshipped during his stay in Fraserburgh. Untouched Forster & Andrews 2-manual organ of 1892.
