A Christian site for over 900 years. The present church was built in 1862. Stones from the earlier churches are incorporated in the font. The bell is inscribed I was made for Hobkirk in 1745. One mile west of Bonchester Bridge on the A6088 Hawick Newcastle (off A68). United with Southdean.
