Church founded 1225 on west bank of River Leven and rebuilt in village 1640. Present building 1872. Stained glass windows, Sadie McLellan 1972, embroidered panels, Hannah Frew Paterson 1981, woven silk hangings, Sarah Sumsion 1990, and engraved glass windows, John Lawrie 1992. Peal of six bells augmented to eight for the Millennium. A82 from Glasgow; half-hourly train service from Glasgow Queen Street.
