Also known as St Mungos. Delicate and picturesque Gothic Revival church by James Gillespie Graham 1819. Usual symmetry in plan, but greater felicity than normal in lacy Perpendicular. The 207ft spire with flying buttresses is visible from most parts of the town. Interior is by Leslie Grahame MacDougall in Lorimer-derived Gothic.
