Harled T-plan kirk said to have been designed by William Craik, sometime Laird of Arbigland. The tower on the west wall is of two lower stages, 1776, with a Diocletian window in its second stage, and two upper stages added in 1836 are by Walter Newall, the first with a clock and the top with a big octagonal belfry cupola of polished ashlar under a lantern. Venetian window in the east gable of the tail of the church. Inside, plain furnishings of 1883. A memorial font, presented by the United States Navy in memory of John Paul Jones, a gardeners son from Arbigland, who founded it; designed and sculpted by George Henry Paulin 1946. In the village, turn left at the road junction to Carsethorn. Adjacent to the school on left. Linked with Colvend and Southwick.
