Charming church, built as a chapel of ease in 1792, ?nanced by Sir Claud Alexander of Ballochmyle. It was established as a parish church when Catrine was made a quoad sacra parish in 1871. Major renovations in 1874, 1960, 1992 and 2003. Stained glass. Harrison & Harrison pipe organ 1883. Overlooking Catrine in the river Ayr valley.
