Misty Glen - Getting There

Getting there from the Information Centre

Misty Glen is just c couple of minutes walk along the retail crescent from the National Park Gateway Centre in front of Drumkinnon Tower at Loch Lomond Shores.

Getting There by Car

From the South (M74/M6), the M74 will take you to the south side of Glasgow. Follow signs for the M73 which will take you to the M8 - Loch Lomond and Greenock. Leave the M8 at Junction 30, go over the Erskine Bridge, join the A82 going west following signs for Crianlarich. After 14 miles you will come to the Stoneymollan Roundabout at Balloch. Turn right and at the next roundabout, go left. You will come to another small roundabout and go straight over to Loch Lomond Shores.

Getting There by Railway

Regular trains from Queen Street Station, Glasgow, to Balloch Station which is a few minutes walk from Loch Lomond Shores.

Getting there by Aeroplane

From Glasgow Airport, take the M8 west to Loch Lomond and Greenock. Leave the M8 at Junction 30, go over the Erskine Bridge, join the A82 going west following signs for Crianlarich.
