The Queen Elizabeth Forest Park Visitor Centre is above Aberfoyle as the road begins its long climb into the heart of the Trossachs. The Forest Park, now encompassed within Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, is spread over the hillsides of the Trossachs, and combines conservation and recreation with timber production. The mixed woodlands provide a beautiful setting for over sixty miles of forest walks, drives, cycle tracks and picnic and play areas. Cross the Duke's Pass with its eagle-eye view of magnificent forest-covered hills, mirrored in the tranquil waters of numerous lochs.
