Alloa is a small town in Clackmannanshire, across the Firth of Forth from Stirling.
Alloa's main attraction is the carefully restored Alloa Tower, which was the home of the earls of Mar for 400 years. Standing on the parapet, the Firth of Forth stretches away before you. Alloa was once one of Scotlands major brewing centres.
